The CERTUM LUX2 brings authentic concealment to appendix- and hip-carry light holsters. This holster is more concealable than most non-light holsters. Additionally, the CERTUM LUX2 is compatible with a variety of compact weapon lights (e.g., Streamlight TLR7, Surefire XC1-B, XC2, Inforce APLc). Retention is not dependent on the light, so the holster works also without a light. The camming bar is interchangeable with three different sizes to fine-tune concealment when worn forward of the hip point. When cinched by the belt, it rotates the grip into the body to keep the gun hidden.

OPTIMIZED CONCEALMENT | Slim, simple, and sound, the CERTUM LUX2 is designed to give you options. It is at home behind the hip with 15 degrees of cant or in front of the hip with 0 degrees of cant. All excess material has been removed, with the result that the profile of the CERTUM LUX2 is smaller than most non-weapon-mounted light holsters. When worn appendix, the holster rides more toward the hip point and lower in the belt line for optimal concealment.

ADJUSTABLE CAMMING BAR | The CERTUM LUX2 comes with three detachable camming bars. When cinched by the belt, the camming bar rotates the grip into the body, maximizing concealment. The camming bars come in three sizes (1/4" - 3/8" - 1/2") to allow for personalized adjustments for the ideal fit.

LEAN DESIGN | The features of the CERTUM LUX2 are intentionally molded into the holster for a slim and durable product. The CERTUM LUX2 is made from thick (0.093”) and durable thermoplastic for longevity.

Each holster is molded to our Trucise™ fit which creates a uniquely secure holster with a smooth and consistent draw.
The mid-ride shirt guard is carefully profiled to allow for an unencumbered high thumb grip.
The gun sits low to optimize concealment but high enough so the belt does not interfere with a full grip of the gun for consistency and speed. The height adjustment of the attachment options can be dialed in for a precise carry position.
Profiled at the top, the CERTUM LUX2 supports most conventional slide-mounted red dot sights.
The sight channel is tall to allow for suppressor height sights.

PERSONALIZED PERFORMANCE | One of the biggest challenges to integrating a holster into daily life is ride height. We have carefully designed subtle and robust ride height adjustments into the CERTUM LUX2. The attachment options carefully balance security, durability, concealment, and convenience. Most of the attachments are spaced to allow the user to split a pant loop to increase flexibility in the placement of the holster.

T1 CLIP | The Tenicor T1 belt clip by Discreet Carry Concepts leverages strength and durability with unique Tenicor-designed slots. This intelligent design feature allows the clip to adjust vertically up to 0.80 inches providing subtle ride height adjustment. The dual screws provide stability, and the staggered height slots keep the overall length trim. (Compatible with 1.5” belts.)

CLOSED SOFT LOOPS and SNAP LOOPS | We no longer supply Closed Soft Loops and Snap Loops, however, the CERTUM LUX2 is designed to accept those attachment options.

Worth every penny!!

This is my second Tenicor holster. I had the Velo 4 and then I started running my G19 with a light so I bought the Certum Lux 2. Couldn't be more pleased with the comfort, quality, and fit of this holster. For reference I am 5'9 and 185lbs and this holster makes carrying a G19 with a light and optic extremely comfortable for AIWB. It does not print, is easy to draw, and feels incredibly safe and secure. As long as Tenicor keeps making holsters this well I will not buy anything else. And yes, personal preference, but I only run it with the one clip for ease of getting it off and putting it on, and the clips are so well made I have had no issues using only one, but you do get 2 and a bunch of extra parts, sticker, etc.

Worth the purchase

This holster is really comfy. It sits close to the body, hides well under clothes, and doesn’t poke or get in the way. Perfect for everyday carry if you want comfort and concealment. Really stoked about my purchase.

Informed and honest perspective

I am running this holster with a cr920
Elite and a Tlr7 subx hl

This holster does a lot well but what it does poorly is kind of important, maybe the most important. Several design flaws culminate into big problems. I’ll start with the good and then give ya the bad.

This one of the few 43x holsters on the market that isn’t cut for a 48. Meaning you get a small footprint which I appreciate.
Some holsters cut for the 43 are combined with high loops which when combined with the shorter length lead to the top of the weapon flipping out which is why so many only cut for a 48 length. This holster doesn’t have that issue.

The holster conceals well and is comfortable at the 3 o’clock(my preferred method) as well as aiwb . I like that you get options in terms of iwb or behind the hip, as well as different size belt pushers to fit how one runs it. Again, this is one of the few holster to carry two ways well.

The included clips are a pain in the butt. While they have the benefit of the fact that a T. rex isn’t going to rip your holster off your pants it means you can’t get it off either.
Something that’s also negated by the holsters poor retention.
There is no click like many holster on the market which when combined with the over aggressive claws means the loaded gun often comes out when unholstering. A dangerous combination.
The clips have the oversight of not including rubber spacers, something predominate on most other holster manufactures for a reason. Metal on kydex is subject to physics.
After some movement of the clips the kydex has “bite marks” present where the screw holes are. It kind of hurts to see deep wear marks on so expensive a holster from simply putting it together.

Returns are a hassle so I’ll probably keep this one with the caveat of I’m now searching for soft loops since tenicore no longer carries them.
I think the soft loops will negate most of the issues save for what is, in my opinion, less than stellar retention.
The added cost of loops push this holster into a ridiculous price category considering the poor retention.
I would not recommend this holster to a beginner to concealed carry and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to the more advanced shooter at its current price.
There are simply better designs at a cheaper point of entry.
If I were on the design team I would design better click retention into the light or at a minimum replace the clips with a less aggressive design. I’d probably do both.
Less aggressive clips would probably reduce production cost as well

When the gun comes out so easily the over aggressive retention of the holster is kind of moot, especially when they retention helps to facilitate such a failure.

TLDR; if you need a holster that carries aiwb and at 3 ocklock well that is cut to 43 length and can deal with less than great retention and have 15 minutes to take your holster off and are ok with paying a maximum buy this holster.
