#TenicorTip | Rule 2 | “Never point a gun at anything you are not willing to shoot.”
Another time this rule gets violated often is with rifles. Typically when the rifle is slung, practitioners stop paying attention to where it gets pointed. They bend over instead of squatting, which points the gun at people and things behind them. Another common negligent act with a rifle is to sling it so the rifle hangs horizontally. The result is that the gun gets pointed at anything or anyone to the side. All guns are always loaded! Never point your gun at anything you are not willing to shoot! These rules apply at all times, all places, and even to you. If you believe you are above the rules and the rules are only for new shooters, then you are negligence waiting to happen.
What do you think when you have seen people violate rule 2?
